Community Futures' instructors are chosen for their approachability as well as their skills. All have excellent qualifications and wealth of experience in their field. Their understanding of entrepreneurial needs creates a warm, supportive atmosphere in the classroom.
Classes are also an excellent opportunity to network with other business owners and perhaps even exchange skills!

The majority of our workshops are held in our Training Centre at:
201-514 Vernon Street at Ward, in Nelson – right-hand door above the Post Office
Remember, for your comfort, dress in layers so you can adjust to your comfort zone.
Parking:
Parking is available at the Nelson Parkade on Vernon Street for $3.50/day or $1.50 on Saturdays. Unless stated otherwise, (in the workshop schedule) all workshops will start at 9 a.m. and finish by 4 p.m.
The two-day Business Plan Workshop teaches individuals how to write a business plan. The workshop is available to anyone. It is also a pre-requisite for individuals interested in applying for the Self-Employment Program.
